Dr. Coscia received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at Manhattanville College. He continued his doctoral studies at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. During dental school, Dr. Coscia was very involved in mentoring his peers in dental lab procedures and techniques. He also conducted periodontal research during his time in dental school. At graduation, he received an award for outstanding mentoring of his peers from the Dental Students Organization.
Upon completion of his studies, Dr. Coscia scored in the 97th percentile on his National Dental Boards. He continued his training in a General Practice Residency at the New York Hospital of Queens an affiliate of Cornell-Weill Medical College. This additional year of training afforded Dr. Coscia the opportunity of completing a wide variety of cutting-edge dental procedures which included placing and restoring dental implants and rotary-instrumented single visit root canals.
Dr. Coscia is an active member of the Nassau County Dental Society, New York State Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Coscia is happily married and has two beautiful young daughters with which he loves to spend his free time. He also enjoys gardening, playing percussion instruments (drums), and a quiet dinner with family and close friends.
